Well, hello everyone! Hope you all have been doing good! So, I’m back…again. Remember that time about a year ago when I went away for a while because I was pregnant? And then I came back for a few months…and then went away again? Well, I had my baby about 4.5 months ago. Now that I am through the newborn fog and moving on to more of the sunshine and lollipops I was actually expecting to come of this (man, they are NOT KIDDING when they tell you it’s hard! Seriously, people, listen when people give you advice about the […]

Since changing up my blog and adding topics to it so that now it is more of a general blog – or at least doesn’t only focus on books now – I’ve wondered about this. Is this a good idea? Or is it better to just focus on one topic? See, the thing with me is that I have many interests and I find myself wanting to share and talk about them. However, not every reader or follower of my blog is going to be interested in all of my topics: books, food/exercise, nails (and now pregnancy/parenting). Since starting this […]

It came as quite a shock to me and hubby as well. But, I suppose it is time for us to start a family that consists of more than just the two of us and our furry friends. We have been married almost 4 years, so sure! It’s time. Even though it was a surprise, we are definitely happy about it and cannot wait to start this new chapter of our […]

This design was inspired by a local nail artist. I used to go get gel nails done and my esthetician did a design similar to this. It’s not identical, as (1) I can’t remember exactly what the design looked like, it was so long ago, and (2) I’m not a professional! But, I think it turned out pretty cool-looking in any event. This is my first time using OPI Color Paints and I’m already in love! I was so excited when this collection came out because it’s so good for fun and easy nail art. I can’t wait to do more with these new polishes! First up with this collection: This was a super simple design to create. I only used the normal brushes that came with the polishes. I started with the purple on the tips and then used the pink and just blended them together. Since it’s not meant to be perfect to for all the nails to be the […]
