I Get Bored of the Same Old Workout

I Get Bored of the Same Old Workout
24 July, 2015 / 0 Comments

I find it difficult to stick with a workout for several reasons.  The really big one, though, is getting bored of doing the same darn one all the time!  I’ve been through many.  I’ve done videos (Insanity, Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred, T25), tried the gym, ran on my elliptical, gone for bike rides/walks.  So far nothing has stuck. Every time it starts out the same.  Initially, I get really excited about my new workout plan and then I do it for a while, but then get bored or just plain sick of it.  Even Insanity and T25, which have […]

My Nails This Week: Wedding Glamour
22 July, 2015 / 1 Comment

Since I was attending a wedding this week, I wanted to do something that wouldn’t be too out there, but had some glitz and glamour to it, ya know what I mean?  Here’s what I came up with: Simple, yet pretty, don’t you think?  Now, this design was inspired by others, such as this design on Pinterest.  But I painted my glitter dots on, while it looks like she used a gem sticker.  I’m sure there are tons more designs like this out there – I can’t possibly link to them all! What do you think of this design? Let […]

The Clash of Blogging and Summertime

The Clash of Blogging and Summertime
21 July, 2015 / 4 Comments

Is it just me or is it much harder to stay motivated and consistent with blogging come summertime?  I feel like there are so many things going on in the summer that my blog suffers because of it.  Life is busy at the best of times, but summer is even worse.  There are weddings, barbecues, travelling, and more!  These things make it difficult to have time for blogging…and even reading! Not to mention – who wants to just sit on a computer for however long to keep up with blogging when it’s so beautiful outside?  Especially for someone (like me) […]

Does Reading More Make You Harder to Please?

Does Reading More Make You Harder to Please?
14 July, 2015 / 4 Comments

Lately I’ve been wondering if the more I read, the less impressed I am by books.  Do you know what I mean? As I’ve discussed previously, it has been a ridiculously long time since I’ve rated a book 5 stars.  Now, is that because I really just haven’t found a really great book in over a year, or is it some other reason?  Is it maybe that I’ve read so many books that I’m harder to please?  I think it’s possible that I get harder on books the more I read because I have more and more books to compare my […]

I actually have no clue if this design has been done before (surely I’m not the first one to think of this?), but the idea came fresh and clean into my mind with no use of inspiration from others.  So, here it is: The colours don’t show up the greatest in this picture, but they are a pale blue-grey and a navy blue. What do you think of this design? Let me know in the comments what you think, link me up to your own, or suggest a design for me to try!
