My Nails This Week: Black Cat

My Nails This Week: Black Cat

This design I came up with on my own.  I’m not saying there aren’t others who have done black cats as nail art for Halloween, but I didn’t get my inspiration from them if they did.  The polka dots on the other nails were a last minute cover up.  I originally had a pair of cat eyes on each nail, but I didn’t like the way they looked so I covered them up and did polka dots instead! What I used to accomplish this look: Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat Color Club Not-So-Mellow Yellow Color Club Foxy Mama China […]

My Nails This Week: Boo!

My Nails This Week: Boo!

Another Halloween design for you!  This design was inspired by @nailstorming’s ghost emoji on Instagram.  I decided to go with more of a classic boo!-style ghost, rather than the emoji, but I did take the idea for the nail tip (bottom of the ghost) from this person.  I also just did the ghost as an accent nail to my french manicure and I finished with a matte topcoat for something different. What I used to accomplish this look: Essie Matte About You Zoya Purity China Glaze Liquid Leather Dotting Tool Nail Striper What do you think of this design? Let […]

I wish I would have kept Screenshots of My old Blog

I’ve had this new blog for over a year now and while I love it, I find myself wishing I would have kept screenshots of my old blog, SIK Book Reviews.  I put quite a bit of effort into how it looked at its end.  I made my own pictures for the headers and I had a cute little logo that my sister did up for me: So, clearly, my colours were purple and pink.  Isn’t that a cute logo?  I don’t really have a logo for this blog.  I just created the header with the stars that you see up […]
