A Look Back at May 2018

1 June, 2018 / 6 Comments

Well, May happened!  Looks like the nice weather is here to stay!  We have been enjoying lots of outdoor time on the weekends!  My daughter is just obsessed with going outside – haha!  She is sleeping better, but still struggling to go down at night.  She just doesn’t want the fun to stop!  I’m feeling good about the blog.  I’m trying to do three posts per week and I’ve been pretty good about actually getting them up!  I want to do more nail art posts, as I didn’t get any up this month, but that requires me to have the time to actually do nail art on my nails, doesn’t it?  I will try for June!  We’ll see if I can keep up all this blogging too, but I just got a new job so I’m not sure how much time I’ll have!

  1. I read Crewel years ago and really enjoyed it! I’ve been meaning to check and see if the author ever continued the series… I would love to re-read the first book and then see where the story goes from there. If I remember correctly, the first book ended with quite the cliffhanger.

I did my DNF&Y post yesterday, too! I list all the books I didn’t finish and then explain why. I think the linkup is still open if you want to add your URL. 🙂

  2. This is a great post! I 100% agree about the photography bit. I like doing landscape and travel photos but I honestly don’t possess the talent to think of and photo unique/interesting book type photos. lol. I also like how you adding in your makeup likes. I’m think about in other things to like postcards to my blog. 😀

I don’t have the patience or make book photography a priority for my time, but I love taking photos of nature and architecture. Nail art is amazing, but as soon as I try to use my hands, I ruin it. I’m trying to use less makeup now that the warmer months are here. Hope your June is going well and I miss playing outside with my kids. Now it’s all inside games on phones and game systems.
