A Look Back at November 2018

30 November, 2018 / 8 Comments

November already?!  I feel like it was just Halloween!  Where did the month go?

I did have one very LONG weekend in November, however.  We took 3 days and did a potty training boot camp with my daughter.  It was rough, but she’s doing so good now.  I was thinking about writing a post about it actually.  I read a tiny eBook with this 3-day method, so I could review the book, but as more of a discussion-type post.  Who wants to see that?  I know my parenting posts aren’t all that popular, so I’m a bit hesitant.  But if it could help somebody in a similar situation (since we did struggle with it – it took longer than 3 days), then it would be worth it!

  1. I completely understand what you mean about the month going by so fast – I feel like it was just summer, and now it’s winter? like, WHAAAAAAA??? And I would totally read that post about potty training – I have a little son who is going to need to start learning that soon and I have no idea how to go about it. Anyways, thanks for a lovely post 🙂

I know, right?! Oh, okay! I will try to write that post soon! Good luck with potty training!! It’s a lot of work, but very rewarding (isn’t that true of all things related to raising kids though? Haha).

  2. I had a pretty good November. It was busy. I volunteer with a children’s basketball program and we got started at the beginning of the month. Being at the gym 2 nights a week for 3 hours has really cut into my reading time. See what I did read at Girl Who Reads

Where did November go? We are designing a new kitchen and all the decisions take so much time and energy. Thanksgiving was fun with family and then we decorated that weekend, even though it felt early (it’s a tradition for Thanksgiving weekend). So much cooking and baking! Good luck with the potty training!
